José Bento
Fire, air and the possibility of transformation shape this reading of José Bento's work. Installations and sculptures open perspectives on impermanence, risk, and the relationship between art and the environment.
The exhibition considers what lies at the threshold of the works: the possibility of combustion, changes of state, and the tension between permanence and disappearance. Bringing together works including Ar, Do pó ao pó and Mona, it connects the material questions of sculpture to social and environmental readings.
