A collection of religious sculpture and silver objects
The exhibition celebrates the donation of 44 objects from Associação Amigas da Cultura to Museu Mineiro. Religious sculpture and silver objects reveal a history of collecting, support for the arts and cultural heritage preservation.
On loan to the museum since 2001, the objects entered its permanent collection through donation. The exhibition highlights the association’s role, since its founding in 1953, in building collections and supporting artistic and intellectual life in Minas Gerais.
